While traveling on Hawaiian Air during our recent vacation to the Islands, the flight crews were pushing hard on an interesting promotion of the Hawaiian Air credit card. Normally, the application includes 35,000 bonus miles, which is what you'd receive if approved and applying at a bank or online. But between now and end of June--if you're flying on Hawaiian--the flight crews have applications that will give you 60,000 bonus miles plus the miles from your trip if you fill out the application on the plane. Not a bad deal.
Since I already have the card, I couldn't take advantage, but I did grab 4 applications and would like to make them available to fellow TUGgers if you're interested. Just PM me with your mailing address and I will put the application in the mail to you.
By the way, 60,000 miles gets you a free round trip ticket from the mainland to Hawaii using the Saver fare.
