Does anyone have a link to a 'sample' of the Activities Schedule at Barony? (if not, I will call----didn't want to bother).

I suspect I will get 'Gardenview', I usually ask for "....Top Floor if possible..."

Of the Gardenview Buildings, are the views any better/worse at any of them?

Thanks,
Pat

OK----I didn't get any TUG replies, so I called the resort for a sample Activities Schedule.

As far as my second question:

".....I suspect I will get 'Gardenview', I usually ask for "....Top Floor if possible..."

Of the Gardenview Buildings, are the views any better/worse at any of them? "

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Pat

I am at Barony now and just remembered to photo the activities. Sorry for the timing. Here it is

As far as garden view, I leave that up to someone else as we’re not in garden view rooms. The place is beautiful and service, wonderful enjoy your stay

We always enjoy Gary Mauer Bamboozled comedy/magic show. About 45 minutes and very family orientated.

Garden units are very nice and there is a gate into the Westin to get to the Ocean. Pool and slide are great, less crowded, and really appreciate they started to heat this pool. I tend to request high floor Gardenia. We enjoy the outdoor kitchen and this kitchen is closer to Gardenia. Jasmine is a little closer to main resort area.

We're going next April, using DC points so will be watching for comments. No idea where they will put us other than
"Oceanside courtyard view".

2015 TUG post with a description of the Barony footprint and building/unit view types

As you can see from the links Barony has six buildings with the two Gardenside buildings set back behind the Westin Hotel (which is beachfront and next to the other four Barony buildings.) I don't think that either Barony or the Westin say that people staying in the Gardenside buildings can cut through the Westin to get to the beach? There is a path, though, on the Marriott property, that follows the property line between Barony and the Westin.

The "outdoor kitchen" is, I think, the pavilion over in the Gardenside section, but I'm not sure that it's equipped with every kitchen amenity? It does have a few gas grills, tables and chairs for eating, a couple tv's, I think a gas fireplace for cooler days? - and all that under a roof so you're protected from rain. There are also gas grills and an eating pavilion in the center of the main complex.

Yes, the Tides Pavilion is what I referred to. I believe 6 grills, granite counter tops, and sinks.

Televisions, fireplace, ping pong and football. Makes for entertainment as we grill. One of the nicest grill section I have seen.
