It's seems like when you are retired, the years roll into one another. I used to be able to keep many things in my head, I was a single mom of 5. Working, soccor, baseball, scouts, etc I was a multitasking queen. Now not so much. I'm married now and I was trying to remember which year I started dating my husband. I remembered that the first vacation we went on was welk, and he proposed to me at flagstaff. So now I have the timeline down. Thank you rci. That's rather sad or funny. Now I have to write things down.
Glad that it's not just me. I used to remember everything. Now I feel like I remember nothing. In the last 10 years or so, there are a lot of reference points that correlate with timeshare vacations.

I also use excel. I have an ownership tab for each resort, a usage tab so that I can easily see when/where we are going, and another tab that tracks my deposited weeks - where they are and when they expire. I used to track my Interval costs and my RCI costs but that was too much of a PITA so I stopped updating those.

I also use Tripit to track our vacations. That is invaluable as it loads dates into my calendar automatically, and I can scan in other miscellaneous (non-confirmation) documents, so everything is in the same place. Directions to places are part of the Tripit information, as well as weather. I also share the trip with the family so that they have our itinerary.

I've owned 7 weeks for years. I could keep track of each timeshare. When I paid the mfs and how I treated each timeshare. Did I use it, did I deposit it and which trading company did I use. Did I exchange it for another timeshare, where and what dates. This year I bought a wyndham timeshare and worldmark credits. Today I booked 3 vacations back to back. One wyndham, worldmark, and a timeshare using my tpus in rci. I had many screens up on my computer. I was a little overwhelmed and I need a better tracking system. I

I know many of you own more than I do...how do you keep track? I've never lost a week because it fell through the cracks and I don't want it to ever happen.
With a big spreadsheet that has seven tabs...

I'm getting to the point where I need to create an excel spreadsheet in order to keep track of our timeshares. However, with a 2 bedroom lock off that I split up, bonus weeks with exchange companies, etc. the task seems overwhelming to me.

Is anyone willing to share a view of their spreadsheet?

Thanks in advance for any guidance you can provide!

Slightly off topic, but when listing foreign travel for my ongoing periodic background checks, I used Google photos to remind me where I’ve been.

With 3 timeshares in 2 point systems, it was fairly easy to track using the online point systems. But when we got the 4th TS and a 3rd point system, and different reservation date periods, I started a spreadsheet. It's also helpful so DH could have a visual of the different point values in each system. And I spend less time explaining the trades & points used.

Not so well at times. I made reservations for New Years Eve 2021 and on one of the short reservations for a family member for New Years Eve and day went missing. When I called in to find out where the reservation had gone no one could find it with the confirmation number. Finally they did find it and told me it was for 2020.

My newest problem is a SFX deposit that will expire in July.
