How does Interval keep track of identical units?

Our unit list in Interval is pretty confusing when it comes to identical units because I cannot differentiate between contracts and because the lock-off is mentioned 3 times (1 studio, one bdr and a 2 bdr lockoff).
Say i do an ongoing search (search first) using a one bedroom, does it matter which contract I eventually deposit?

No, I don't think that it matters. I have two identical units and when I go to deposit, I just look for one that has not yet been deposited and look for the size that I am depositing (e.g., 1 BR, effic., etc.). I have done this for almost a decade.

I have 2 identical sdo units. I have often rented one and deposited the other. When I've don't this, they have sometimes had to have Vistana go back and switch the unit to the one that wasn't used. There isnt a way to tell them apart as far as I can tell. This has happened to me twice, and both times it took about a week for them to straighten it out, but they did so without issue.
