How hard is it to book Hawaii for the Summer

We just went through our 3rd pitch with HGVC. We passed on the every other year 4,800 points for $15k. But I do think I want to buy in via the resale market. We liked our stay at King's Land in Hawaii, and would like to be able to stay at places like that in the future. How hard is it to find availability with the 9 months out windows in places like King's Land? We are looking to get in at around the 7,000 point level or above.

Good availability for KL at 9 months (club seasons) plus you also have Bay Club and Kohala Suites. Oahu is much harder but doable.

Yup. We live in Backwards World here, but I'm OK with it :)

Cheers.

I have 7000pt Flamingo and used almost all the points for Hawaii, mostly in Waikiki. With 7000 pt, you will have flexibility to book 1BR or 2BR of GV, OV, OF by managing your points. Booking is not difficult for Big Island. For Oahu, I finish booking on the day when club reservation window opens.
