Before i bought SVV Cascades, i called RCI to check on the trading power and the annual fees. I was told that they would enroll it and i would pay $59 for the first year membership.
Now i called and they do not have that promotion. Does anyone know if they have those regularly? I do not necessarily need RCI because I trade in Interval but it would still be nice to have it for last minute deals. I would not pay full price though.

RCI frequently has multi-year memberships available at a discounted rate. Best thing to do is check their website from time to time, (they usually post it on the opening page), or pay attention to Tug, where things like that are posted when they're found. You'll want to make sure you aren't spending good money for nothing, since the cost of exchanges goes up regularly, in addition to membership fees. You can easily spend several hundred dollars for the "privilege" of trading in RCI, if you happen to find an exchange that works for you. If you are only thinking of RCI for last minute deals, and not as a place to deposit your week, then you can join anytime you feel the price is right. Your exchange trading power wouldn't be a factor at that point.

I joined when I saw a 10 dollar credit with a membership. Haven't seen any discount for a new 1 yr since and that was October.
