We have never been to any Islands. Freeport (Marlin) is avail in Jan/Feb. I can not “do” humidity & I do not want to sit in the unit the whole time. I can do low-end of Muggy but not high-end and not Oppressive. Internet says Muggy those months. We are seniors and want to do a glass-bottom boat to see the coral reefs, see the colors of the towns, the colors of the water, and just experience the Islands at least once. We do not lay-out on the beach of hours. Is Freeport an ok choice? No other choices at this point. Do I wait to see if more open up? Any suggestions are appreciated.

Aruba is your best hope for avoiding humidity year round. It is a desert island, so you would be giving up the lush jungle, rain forest type environment.

I’m not familiar with the Marlin Resort. But some things I do to keep cool:

Get out on a boat and catch the breeze while the boat is underway
Swim - swimming cools you off. Once you get hot again, get back in
Wear light, gauzey type clothes - they are easier to stay cool in
Take a Luke warm shower
When out in the sun, wear a loose fitting hat. Too tight and you will sweat. Straw works well.
Drink lots of water
Find shade
