We are in Key West, own a Plantium week for 18 years. Have been to 3 HPP presentations in past. Sales guy showed us the "Beyond" program that is live. We did convert, purchased 500 points at 19.50 per point. Sales said we could book cruises, hotel and airline tickets. But the folks at Hyatt reservations do not know anything about it? We have 10 days to cancel conversion. Has anybody converted the HPP? I have noticed a difference in past 12 months in getting the reseravations we want, I am concerned that the Marriott purchase will screw the legacy HRP owners? I am afraid that as time goes by, it will get even harder. We were orgainlly offered 400 points in 2017 and declined, I had a photo of the offer on my phone. So that is why they were able to move from 660 to 780 points to 500. Any thoughts - I know all are going to say cancel, but we purchased the Key West Plantium week resale for $10,000 dollars so we are very aware of the resale market. I liked the idea of being able to bank my points for 4 years and also converting to WOH, it also appeared that you can book cruises and other travel using HPP. Has anybody done any of this?

There is a Hyatt forum on this site. Try posting there. Personally I would rescind.

OP also posted in the Hyatt forum. Mod could probably merge this thread or delete as an almost identical duplicate.

I did not get even on reply on Hyatt page - so I reposted to general. I needed more input, since it is a large purchase!

There are 12 replies to the one you posted in the Hyatt page. I’ll summarize them for you: rescinded now while you still can.
