We recently listened to the sales pitch on the new Portfolio program but was sticker shocked. The sales pitch was for 2200 points but with being an existing owner (Beach House diamond) they gave us a discount of $10,000 to purchase, cost $37,000. We were told the only way to transfer our Beach house points into the Portfolio program was to buy into the Portfolio then each year we could put our Beach House points into the program and have more flexibly. I have found a resale Portfolio but where would I find out if the same rules apply if I purchase resale? Has anyone used the Portfolio plan and have they seen a difference? Does anyone know if I will ever be able to go into the Portfolio program with my existing Beach House property?
