Anybody every book two getaways to the same resort for the same week? Possibly even the same unit size?

No, but if there is enough inventory you are allowed to do it.

How do you know there is enough inventory? I've heard of people using two separate computers and queuing up one and proceed with the 17 minute window and then open the second.

But I think that it is easiest to just call ii and tell the rep that you want to buy two.

Shankilicious, I like your avatar photo! The dragon bridge in Da Nang? (My avatar is a market stall in Hoi An.)

To answer your question, I bought two Getaways (or maybe one was an AC and the other was a Getaway?) a couple of years ago. Same resort, same week.

Some properties may have a limit. I believe Marriott's have a limit of three getaways for the same resort during the same dates. If you book more, they will cancel any beyond three. This can be a pain if you need larger units and they only have studios or 1BRs. You would be fine to book three 2BR units, but not okay to book three studios and three 1BRs.

I have - for a group trip to Orlando a few times.

The only issue is II doesn't show you how many they have - so you have to book one and then check back to see if another one pops up.

Dioxide is correct - Marriott (at least Orlando) does have a limit if 3 getaways. If the resort you are interested in has this restriction, it will be shown as you make your way through booking....

"IMPORTANT ADVISEMENTS
Purchase of Getaways to this property limited to not more than three Getaway confirmations per concurrent week, per membership. Confirmations not adhering to this restriction are subject to cancellation"

And just a reminder that once you book a Getaway, it's yours. You do not get the 24-hour grace period to cancel the reservation, like you do with an exchange.

Yes, Dragon bridge in Da Nang! I was there during Tet 2017 for 8 nights. Beyond amazing! And thanks for the info. I've got a very busy year at home for 2019 so the only vacations I am likely to take are to Branson and I'd like to take my parents, brother and his wife, so I'd need to get two, 2BRs

If you cant, I’m sure a TUGer could help you out booking the second one and adding a guest cert for another name in your party. I have Platinum so the cert is free, probably won’t use the three ACs I have before July.
