I own a week at Indian Palms and in the latest Newsletter, they say they are partnering with Interval. I got a call yesterday asking if my husband and I were available for a 20-minute presentation regarding this new partnership. The newsletter also has an article that at the end says if you want to learn more call to make an appt. and then it has the disclosure that this advertising material is being used to sell a timeshare.

So what are they trying to sell us? The gal that called, it was a bad time so I couldn't ask her any questions.

I think that hudshut is correct. If you go to the presentation, I would find it interesting to find out how many $ they want to convert you to points. And whether you can use either points or weeks (that is switch back and forth as you see fit), whether there is a skim? (can you use your points to stay in your own timeshare (or one equivalent) for a full 7 nights? Also, when you sell, does the unit revert to weeks again?

$3500 to convert to interval club gold or $3990 if you want to add on an additional foreclosed week. The resort gets between 50000 and 72000 points depending on week deposited. From what I could tell from their examples this would get you a nice resort in low season.. The week can still be exchanged with gpx or used. The club membership is perpetual and you can add 4 people on it that have access to getaways and discounted hotels.

Needless to say, I passed
