I was approached by the International Sales Group NY because they wanted to purchase my Club Regina timeshare for $74K so that someone to obtain a tax deduction. I am wondering whether anyone has ever sold their time share using International Sales Group NY, and whether it actually has sold time shares.

Scam.
Mexican timeshare.
They called you.
They offered an outrageously high price.
These firms will not sell your timeshare. They will tell you there is a "small fee" of $2k - 3k that needs to be paid by you before the "sale" can proceed. As soon as you wire the funds, they disappear and move on to their next victim. That is their real objective.

This is a common SCAM:

They are going to charge you a bogus fee.
They will tell you it will go into escrow with a US company, but the wire instructions will send the money out of the country.
After they have your money, they will disappear.
You will have no recourse, because they, and your money, will be outside the US.

Scam, scam scam. I don’t need to repeat WHY, since Denise and others already explained it. These guys make money on the upfront fees you pay them.

I Googled International Sales Group NY and found a legitimate Real Estate company with that name located in the Financial District. I’m not going to post a link to their company because they have nothing to do with the scoundrels who called you. They are a multi-billion dollar business dealing with real estate acquisitions, construction, loan restructuring etc etc.

Please don’t fall for this. If someone calls out of the blue, offering you a ridiculous sum of money for a MX timeshare, you are absolutely being scammed!

International Sales Group lists an address at 17 State Street, Suite 400, New York NY. I went there to check and found there is no such company at that address. They have a great looking website which is apparently bogus. In addition there is at least one attorney who is out of the USA whose identity was stolen by them. They list him as being on their "team." Oh one more thing the zip code on their site is for Fort Lauderdale Florida, not New York.

International Sales Group claims they have an address at 17 State Street, Suite 400 New York NY. There is no such company at that address. Seems a bit fishy, don't you think? They also have stolen the identity of an attorney who is out of the country claiming he is on their "team."

Good on 'ya for doing your homework and so readily seeing through all of the BS, smoke and mirrors and nonsense.

Unfortunately, the timeshare industry (and assorted peripheral "businesses") is riddled with scammers of various flavors, all of them ready and willing and hungry to prove the old adage to be true that "A fool and his money are soon parted".
