Interval deposits?

I know its the end of the year...deposits/availability OK within Interval.

When do MOST people start depositing with Interval for 2020? I see nothing for San Diego...but thats probably difficult to get anyway?

In Interval, for San Diego, there are actually 10 timeshares that show up in their directory. But that includes 3 Welk units (Escondido) and only 1 is still in Interval. Also, the Marriott Pulse is nearly impossible to book unless you are a Marriott owner. So there is some availability. If you rule out Ramona or Escondido, you lower your chances.

We were able in the past to trade via II into Welk Escondido every year to spend some time in the spring and fall with son and family. We spent time there with grandson seeing him get old enough one year to play under the shower devices. Then to be able to play in the pool on his own. And, most recently, to come down the waterslide. For the last year or more, no luck at all.

Welk moved to RCI. The few deposits that II gets now are Welk members who pay for their own II membership and deposit a week.

Marriott does deposit San Diego summer weeks into II. However, other Marriott owners get first dips in exchanging into them, due to the priority block set for the first 24 days of when the weeks first get deposited into II.
