Is banking SOs my best alternative now?

Long story, but I did not book my WKORV unit for this year. At this point in the calendar, I don’t see any weeks in 2019 that I can reserve and use (due to resort and/or my personal schedule) in my unit category at the resort. The deadline to bank Star Options is July 1. Is there anything else I can do?

Go somewhere else instead. Rent your place out to someone you know. Swap it for something at Interval. Or bank your points and go somewhere twice next year, or for two weeks. But you don't have very much time.

Unless you can reserve something good to rent out, banking is perhaps the best option. I wouldn't deposit a WKORV in to II.

I concur with others. A bit too late to try renting unless it is to friends/family where you can target a specific week that they are willing to commit to/fits their plans.
