Storms and high tides have damaged or destroyed part of the boardwalk, fire pits, and some other amenities such as a basketball court. There's a lot of destruction!

I'm expecting that there will be a lot of cleanup and other work done to make it attractive for tourists this Summer, but just like in Hawaii, some California beaches are likely to disappear eventually.
