Myrtle Beach late spring '19

I am considering Ocean Blvd in late April / early May & want to avoid any busy times such as "bike week," alumni gatherings etc. - anybody know if April 28-May 3 &/or May 5-10 have any big events going on? The fact that I see quite a bit of availability leads me to believe nothing much is going on, but I'd like to see if anyone has any local scoop &/or can direct me to a source I could check. Is this time spring break time for colleges on the east coast.

Spring break will be in March so no problems there but bike week starts on 5/10 so you will see a lot of
them rolling into town that whole week.

I was there Bike week. The bikers were nice, the main road detours were a pain.
