I own a Cabo San Lucas timeshare and my wife does not have any further interest in flying there from Virginia. I read the article written about the pitfalls in reselling a timeshare. How/where do I go about a reasonable price for an Executive one bedroom unit at Cabo Villas Beach Resort and Spa? I am open to any and all suggestions.

Welcome to TUG!

Unfortunately, most timeshares in Mexico have no resale value, because the Mexican timeshare market is flooded with free timeshares. To be quite honest with you, you will be lucky to give it away for free.

***You are very likely to be contacted by scammers who promise you that they can sell your timeshare for an attractive price. Don't fall for this - they charge upfront fees, steal them, and then disappear.

They will send you all kinds of legal looking documents and promises - but they are all FAKE. They will have you wire the funds out of the country, steal them, and you will have no recourse.
