I think I'd just sit on my hands and watch for a Sanibel Island TS resale to jump on. Watch TUG Marketplace, Redweek, eBay. If you have an eye on a specific resort, they may maintain a list of owners wishing to sell. It's worth a call or two. Your travel wishlist isn't difficult, though SF & NYC can be hard to catch.

Best Wishes, and Welcome to TUG.

I would also get a Sanibel week. It will trade well and you will be guaranteed to have the week to use as Sanibel is harder to trade into.

Depending on the week you want there are resale’s available in you price point at Sanibel Beach Club II and Lighthouse Resort and Club. Sanibel Beach Club II I prefer more, higher end, but would have no problem having one at Lighthouse. I almost purchased one ther but went with Marco Island instead. Here’s the website for owner resales http://www.sanibelvacationrentalsandsales.com
