We’ll be in New Orleans for a week next month. Are there discounted ticket vendors around the area? We’re staying at the Avenue Plaza on St. Charles, (WorldMark/Wyndham facility.) is there a concierge desk there with discounted tickets? I normally buy tickets through the military bases, but in this case they don’t have anything that fits what we want to do. Any suggestions?

There is an Activity/Concierge Desk. What type of Activities? There are usually 1 to 2 free concerts in different city parks. Many of the music venues on Frenchmen Street have low or no cover. Have to buy 1 drink per person per set.

Thanks, Tom. I’m thinking about entrance tickets to things like Mardi Gras World, or the Plantations (without transportation), riverboat cruises, and such. The Nola Pass is more than we need on a given day, but two expensive for more than one day, for the things we want to do. I’m fine paying face value at the door, but if there are discounted tickets available for fixed-venue things, I’m happy to do that. I am seeing some things on Groupon. Just want to be sure I’m not missing a purchasing option.

When I go to NOLA, I buy all of my discounted tickets to these events through Groupon. I really enjoyed Mardi Gras World
