New to Hilton can't get password to work

Just got my account set up today. When I went to set it up for the first time it said I already had an account. I did password reset but it wont recognize the new password. I called Hilton and they said reset the password again. Still nothing. Anyone else have this issue and how did you get it fixed

I've been here ~10 years and yours is the 1st password issue I've seen.
I'm concerned that there was already an account when you tried to set it up.
Perhaps someone else created an account before you did? If that's so...

Either you need to use their ID+PW, or they need to add you as a user.
... and as said below, I'm talkin' here 'bout HGVC, not Hilton (different fish).

Otherwise, the issue could be with the password itself.
Did it meet this criteria?

You refer to "Hilton", rather than "HGVC". Are you trying to use your name and password on the Hilton Hotel site, instead of the HGVC website? They are two separate entities with separate websites and passwords. I am assuming, since you are a new owner, that you are actually wanting to log into the Hilton Grand Vacations Club website.
