A cold front dropped the first snowflakes of the season throughout the Rockies. This serves as a reminder to plan ahead and buy discount lift tickets while they are available.

Here is a good deal for anyone who might want to ski some powder at Steamboat Springs, CO.

Read the fine print on discount deals for any blackout dates.

Bring on the snow!

We took the train from Durango to Silverton yesterday morning and were picked up by friends who live up here. We got some light rain the last twenty minutes of the trainride. There was a light dusting of snow in the mountains and the road as we drove back down into Durango! We saw three seasons in one day!!!!
