This is the first draft of my letter that I want to send the higher ups at II on Mark Delcampo. Please let me know if there are any suggestions on revisions or additions.

Also where do you think it should be sent? I am thinking to ask Mark how I can send this to his upper management. This is the corporate address on record.

Here is my draft...

On behalf of myself and other members on the Timeshare User Group (TUG) forum, I am writing to thank your company for supporting our participation with Interval International. Your company’s insight in being directly available to our members makes a huge positive impact to our community, contributing to many of us rejoining Interval International each year.

Your liaison Mark Delcampo is an asset to your company. His knowledge, professionalism and helpfulness exceeds all other contacts that your company provides. Being I worked many years as a manager in a customer service field I know how rare and hard it is to find an employee as good as Mark.

Mark Delcampo is appreciated greatly by TUG Members.

It might be worth using a few formatting tricks (bolding, italics, etc) to bring the readers' eyes to the phrases within the message you most want them to register.

For example: “He is remarkably knowledgeable, prompt, courteous, and helpful. In this day and age, it is so unexpected. Mark is one of the main reasons that I remain loyal to Interval International. I have always felt that II is more customer first than their competitors, and having a dedicated TUG rep it is clear example of this.”

And FWIW, I cannot comment on Mark or II from personal experience, because I am not an II member. Yet. After spending the last year here on TUG, reading and participating, DH and I now own a total of 7 weeks per year, 3 timeshare and 4 fractional. I have been unimpressed with my exposure to RCI via the HGVC website. I plan on joining Interval International before the end of the year, based on the positive impression I have gotten here on TUG regarding the quality and value received - providing a II liaison like Mark for TUG sounds like a great example of both quality and value.

I think asking Mark who to send it to is a good idea. Sending it to the corporate address may or may not make it to the person who it should go to, which I would say should be his direct supervisor.

I love that your doing this and thank you again for doing so. I would agree that asking Mark where to send this to as you would want to send this to his supervisor/ manger / VP to ensure he gets the credit due him
