I recently purchased a Hyatt unit and it had points in the account from 2017 (nice surprise), 2200 points. I need to book a unit, or a couple of units, somewhere by February 2019, when I understand I lose the points, but I can book the stay to stay until into 2020. Can I purchase the retrade option and does that give me the ability to continue to see options until 2020, or can I only see 60 days out? I am a new owner, so I am learning. Thank You

EEE points can be used to book any unit that you can see in II when you are attempting to exchange. You should be able to see units going out two years.

You can book a unit today for October 2020 and purchase eplus and then you would extend your ability to do a retrade until October 2021.

You are correct that you need to learn the Hyatt rules. Congratulations on the nice surprise of 2200 points. Based on your post I assumed they were EEE points.

Not only do I agree with DAman, but I suggest you read the stickies on this forum to give you a ton of information on the Hyatt system and how it works. Congrats on your new purchase. Which resort property did you buy?

I purchased in Bonita Springs, Coconut Plantation. We were looking to staying a couple of weeks in Florida in February.
