Question about guest certificate

We should have 259k resale points hopefully by the end of the year. I understand resale contracts get 1 GC. If we were to purchase another contract would we get another GC or because the points just add together would it still only be one?

Non VIP owners get I believe 2 guest certs per year (up from the previous 1) regardless of how many points you have in that account.

VIP levels have the extra GCs. So, your would need to buy 400,000 Wyndham points for 5 total (4 extra GCs per year).

Might NOT be a good use of your retirement savings account.

WOW .. prior poster stating 2 free GCs .. makes the 400K of direct points from Wyndham even a WORST financial option.

If we get 2 then that's plenty. If we do get another contract it won't be a lot more points and will be resale also. Was bidding on the Shawnee for 168 on ebay but it ended up selling for 1225.00

The new policy is two free GCs per account per year for non-VIPs. I presume that won't actually take effect until a new year's GCs are allotted, which will be 1/1/18. With a new resale purchase, I can't guess how those will be allotted in that first partial year (same with RTs) but you should get the full allotment in year 2.

Is it possible that it's only 1 GC if it's a resale contract? I am able to log into a friends account who purchased resale and it only shows 1 GC for the next 2 years. Still haven't been accepted by wyndham so we don't have access to our account yet.
