Let's say I have a non lockoff 81k SO.

Can I book 2 weeks at 34k each and put one of them into II? Or is II just an alternative use of my entire week/points?

What about if I have a lockoff? What are my options?

Thanks very much!

If you own a non-lockoff unit, and you choose to deposit it into II, you must deposit the full unit. If you own a lockoff unit, you have the choice of depositing the full 2-BR unit, the 1-BR unit , and/or the studio. Hope this helps and welcome to TUG!

Hi, thanks for the help.

If you deposit part of the lockoff what becomes of the rest? Can you use SO for that part or do you have to use it at home resort or also deposit it separately into II?

If you have a lockoff and deposit part of it, you may use the other portion, deposit the second piece into Interval (yes, two deposits for two exchanges), or use the StarOptions elsewhere.

You can't deposit a StarOption reservation, if that is what you are asking.

Different booking question but I didn't want to start a new thread. We just closed and gained booking access on a WKV 2 BDR L/O Platinum with usage starting in 2019 (Syed was awesome, as advertised). Took exactly 4 weeks from close for VSN to set us up in the system.

We were looking to book the 3rd or 4th week in March 2019, which is of course peak demand, but still just outside the 8 month SO booking window. They only had a small side 1 BDR available in the 3rd week which we booked. Looking at the availability calendar however, it shows some low availability Mar 24-26 (Sun-Tues), but no availability the 27, 28 (Wed, Thurs), and then availability again 29-31 (Fri-Sun). How is it possible to have no availability mid-week but availability around those dates? I thought home reservations were only for Fri/Sat/Sunday check-ins? This was our first time booking and so I was just curious.
