RCI DVC 30 mile rule

When we acquired our Wyndham Bonnet Creek resale contract there were some points about to expire before we'd get to use them, so we deposited them with RCI. Since Bonnet Creek is well within that 30 mile radius, I'm assuming that means that we can't use the deposited points for any of the DVC locations at WDW, am I correct? Or is it different with the Wyndham points structure? I've been reading through old threads and I can't seem to find an answer on this.

Wyndham doesn't deposit a specific week. It is simply a points grid transaction and the 30 mile rule does not apply.
