I recently combined 2 leftover credits and 2 weeks using that promo from RCI to combine for free if booking at same time with Guide. If I take out the $79 insurance from RCI and cancel the exchange how are the credits required to get the exchange put back into my RCI weeks account? the 2 credits and one week expired Dec. 31, 2011 the other week expired Dec. 31, 2013. The exchange left 9 credits in my RCI account that will expire Dec. 31, 2013.

Does everything go back to the way it was or as credits?

Something's not quite right in those expiration dates. When you combine points, the new expiration is two years from the combine date. 12/31/2013 is more than 2 years out. It looks like they just used the needed points in the order of expiration and gave you the leftover. If that's true then they didn't really combine them to start with.

Upon a cancellation of an insured exchange, the TPU's go back to the pot they came from. From what you're telling us, since it doens't look like they were every really combined, I'd guess you would end up with 3 separate deposits. You might have to call them to find out for sure.
