I just read a review of the plane here: https://thepointsguy.com/2017/10/southwest-737-max-8-flight-review/

It seems like a flight to Hawaii should have USB at the seats, or almost everyone will need to get another power source for phone/tablet to watch on the plane.

We were on a United flight to Maui that had no power and we couldn't watch more than one movie on our tablets. Rick's is an ipad, but he wasn't worried about charging it because our 1st class seats always have those outlets.

I love Alaska. They always have power available for our use.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a power source for a USB device, like my Samsung S Tablet?

Hi RIckandCindy23

Look up Jackery Bolt 1005mAh Power Bank Portable Charger with Built-in Lighting Cables - $35.99 on Amazon - it is small and light weight. Has cables for both Android and Apple. It has saved my bacon several times

Or for $5 more, you can get one with over 2X the power storage: RAVPower 22000mAh Portable Phone Charger

I just bought this one and it works great!

I have had my Jackery Giant 12,000 mAh for 4-5 years. I see it's $27 on Amazon but goes on sale for a lot less if you watch. It'll fully charge my tablet or my phone 4X.
