I have a week at the Carolina Club, Spinnaker resorts in Hilton Head SC. Recently Spinnaker has been trying to contact me to come to a owners meeting with new updates. I was told that they will be trying to get me to upgrade from Carolina Club resorts to Blue Water with a new program that will let you get out of the timeshare when you are ready.

Does anyone have any information on this new upgrade and new program with Spinnaker.

generally the term upgrade means they want you to shell out a significant amount of cash.

afaik spinnaker currently has a surrender program, but its quite expensive. and there is of course no guarantee that it will always be around down the road.

Like Brian stated, if the resort is saying update....that means sales pitch. And let you out when you're ready......that is another sales pitch. It will never be that easy to get out of any timeshare.
