Stem Cell Therapy

Has anyone tried Stem Cell Therapy for knee problems and been successful? I have recently had Synvisc-One Knee Lubrication injections, but didn't help much and can only get them every six months so looking at other options.

My orthopedic surgeon said that SCT is bogus and to not waste your money on it. I investigated it and I could never get one of their doctors to categorically say it works. It’s all a money racket by Orthopedic MDs who aren’t good enough to have a legitimate medical practice. Think Barnum and Bailey, ie there’s a fool, etc.

My ortho said he does do it, but that it would only last a couple years, if it works. He advised I get the replacement, and when it wears out in twenty years, do the stem cell when I am really old. You pay for the therapy, around three thousand.
The replacement is hard, but what a difference to walk without pain.
