Anyone else receive a survey from Hyatt? Asked many questions related to satisfaction with HRC and preferences. The real purpose was buried deep within the survey, to get opinion of HPP, and willingness to buy in. And I let it rip in the comments section.. this confirms they are having major trouble getting HRC owners to convert.

Yes, I got the same survey and offered similar comments regarding HPP. It was a real opportunity, and I hope many HRC owners let Hyatt know they are blowing it with a product that was neither needed nor requested.

Ditto for me. I hope they get the message.

It's pretty clear it's all about HPP. I did say I would be very interested in the HPP provided the entry fee was $100. I could push it to $125 with a little arm twisting, but no higher.

I told them I might be interested only if they allow to convert my existing fixed week for free.

I let them know that we are very unhappy that they are changing the program and that we have not received any formal information that there even IS a new program! We liked it the way it was.

We're all saying pretty much the same things. I doubt they listen, unless they get desperate (appears they're getting close).

Ditto everything here. I said the HPP is crap, and I would never buy into it.

The other thing I noticed, they asked about future travel locations. Assuming II is willing to throw more money at this program to possibly make it work, I wonder if this is their way of seeing where the most interest is from the HRC members. What ever the top three or five locations are get put on their radar as a possible resort location.

I gave em an earful too.

Hopefully people fume at them a bit. But the weird thing is, on Hyatt and Marriott FB pages people always seem to me to defend the TS systems even as the system is ripping them off. I think a lot of people are just not very discerning consumers.

I gave them an earful too. I’m serious about being happy with the current system and being very concerned that they would change the system and try and charge me a lot of money for very little value. I purchased Hyatt to go to Hyatt HRC locations. In fact I’m leaving for Carmel Thursday.

Thanks to all posting as I forgot to reply to the survey until I saw this thread.

The majority of their questions is to focus and sharpen their HPP pitch. I can't imagine they will base their decision for "new travel destinations" on this survey. At best they will identify those locations as bait to buy into the HPP. All the soft ball questions regarding your last stay is just fluff to keep people interested in proceeding with the survey. Since there will be nothing new in the HRC, all this is for HPP talking points.

Hear, hear! Bravo! Very descriptive, sts. I am guessing the marketing weasels at Hyatt will have no problem understanding your opinion ;)

I asked what new changes. I don’t know anything because I wasn’t allowed to go on a tour without my wife, (she absolutely refuses), and I must have missed the email or snail mail I’m sure they sent out.

What would really be interesting IMO would be if they would have the nerve to contact me on a follow up.............Don't think I'll hold my breath........

What survey? Am still waiting for a copy of my bill but asked again and was promised that they would send it to my home address.

You can go to the sales office and ask to talk to a sales manager. We did but they know nothing or do not tell.

I asked him if they are going to be part of the HPP. His answer was that they are not currently but that is today. To me this means that they may be in the future or worse yet that the rumors may become true that were posted here. I let him have it too as we felt so defrauded when we bought while the sale was pending between HRC and ILG!

I got it too, and echoed that HPP wasn’t for me unless there was a low enrollment fee and that it’s complicated to use the original system and I don’t want to learn yet another twist, I also let them know it was already my most difficult timeshare to learn how to properly use and I wouldn’t recommend it to my friends.
