It is so nice to see the same cast of characters here. And I really am thankful for all your help and suggestions.

I was one of the biggest nay sayers and hardest to convince on TS ownership.

Our timeshare at Morritt's in Cayman Islands is one of the best things I have done, can't say I bought it cuz it was free on this site!

My problem is this now, I want to get one more week (free) of course. But it is a fixed week 52 I am looking for, and in a newer building.

What do you think is the best way to procure a fixed week 52 there? They only have 2 fixed weeks all year 51 and 52. I actually would get both at once but figure I need a week 52 before I get a week 51 and am stuck without a week 52.

Please help, can I pay a finders fee to anyone on here if they help me? If that is against the rules I will delete this sentence.

I would do regular ebay searches - you can enter week 51 or 52 in the search bar details .
(You will get "floats 1-52 as well .)

It is interesting what can "pops up " on ebay

Check with the resort. Often they will have a list of owners who are interested in selling. My resorts do.

as a TUG member, you can post a BUY WISH for free as a want ad for that exact week at that exact resort etc.

I doubt you'll find a week 52 free, however, if that's what you're wishing for.
But it never hurts to look--ya just never know!

Good luck and please follow TUGBrian advice (Buy Wish AD). Suggestion only I would look to own a July 4 fixed week. It is a very powerful trader in my humble opinion. A July 4 fixed week is powerful at all timeshare resorts all over the world.

I don’t think you’ll find week 52 for free either as those sold for a premium, especially in the ocean front buildings. That said, I would check and post your wish on the tapatalk forum for Morritts owners and the 2 Facebook pages. You should also check with the resale program at the resort just to see what kind of prices they have listed. You can always make an offer.

Another option is to just rent from owners. Many just charge the maintenance fee although that’s often not the case for weeks 51 and 52.

I hear you and think I will end up paying about 3-5k per week to buy, but I am hoping!

Unfortunately we don’t go until January 6th, but then we are there for 9 weeks so will escape most of winter! Morritts has been part of our retirement plan for some time. Looks like we’ll have a one week overlap while you’re there.
