The Best U.S. Restaurants: TripAdvisor's 2018 Award Winners

"The best fine dining restaurant in the USA, according to TripAdvisor users, is located in New York City.
Gabriel Kreuther was rated the top U.S. restaurant on the travel review website.
TripAdvisor’s Travelers’ Choice awards were given to 75 U.S. restaurants this year. The restaurants were divided into three categories: fast casual, everyday dining and fine dining.
The restaurants were chosen based on the quantity and quality of reviews over a 12-month period.
“Food and dining experiences can often be the main highlight of any trip or an evening out,” Bertrand Jelensperger, senior vice president for TripAdvisor Restaurants, said in a written statement. This year's categories help diners “find the ideal eatery for any occasion – from formal to casual and everything in between.”
Rounding out the top five fine dining restaurants are Daniel in New York City, Café Monarch in Scottsdale, Circa 1886 in Charleston, and Flight Restaurant and Wine Bar in Memphis.
The top fast casual restaurant is Portillo’s Hot Dogs in Chicago. Earl of Sandwich in Las Vegas, Shake Shack in New York City, Blaze Pizza in Orlando, and In-N-Out in Los Angeles are also in the top five.
The Everyday Dining category includes restaurants that provide great meals for any occasion. The top everyday dining restaurant is Pane & Vino in Miami Beach. Rounding out the top five are Mon Ami Gabi in Las Vegas, Hog Island Oyster Company in San Francisco, Phil's BBQ in San Diego, and Spice Symphony in New York City.
