A few in S and VA, a single resort in NC, MD, PA, and UT, plus Jamaica and the Bahamas
Marriott has a timeshare in DC. When it first entered the system you would see occasional off season deposits but I haven't seen any in the last 9 months. Wyndham has one in Alexandria which if it gets less than 2 deposits every 5 years. It also has National Harbor which gets occasional off season deposits although even these don't last more than 2 days. Hilton hotles (not timeshare) also occasionally has platinum priority hotel units for 40-50 tpu's in RCI, but I don't recall the last time I have seen those.

DC is nearly impossible through RCI or II.

We've had great success in D.C. using VRBO.

I wasted well over a year on an RCI ongoing search, waiting for Wyndham Old Town Alexandria to come up. It never did. Tug folks clued me in to the lack of deposits from that resort. I was able to arrange a private exchange with a Tugger - they got me into OTA, and I made an exchange through RCI that they wanted. It worked well for us both. That was likely the only way I would have been able to get an exchange trip to DC.

FWIW, the Old Town Alexandria resort is adjacent to a Hilton hotel, and is right across the street from a convenient DC Metro station. Easiest way to get into the city, and only two stops from National Airport. If you can't do an exchange to OTA, but you're thinking of a hotel stay, this Hilton would be a great place to be. No idea what they charge, but the easy access to the Metro makes it completely worth it.

I stay at my sister's house in MD ... ride the metro to DC, too. Plus, the refrigerator always comes full of food & drink.

But I have stayed at OTA and we both have stayed at National Harbor. Both are excellent places. SO take whatever you can get.

Some years back I rented at Wyndham Alexandria from an owner (through TUG).

If you want a summer week, contact a Wyndham owner 10 - 12 months in advance to arrange a rental. We did a timeshare swap, and our friends were able to get a very reasonable rental.

FWIW...HGVC added DC aka "The District" this year inside the Embassy Suites hotel. I saw availability in June for Jan to Mar 2018 in RCI but gone now. You could add it to an OGS.

I also did a private exchange with a TUGGER for Old Town Alexandria. I love exchanges with TUGGERS not only are they cheaper but you get what you are looking for much earlier than waiting for a match. I can't say enough great things about OTA. I would love to stay there again. Access to transit a few minutes walk and the trolley that goes down the street in Alexandria that had awesome shopping and restaurants.

Nothing beats The Mayflower, three blocks away from the White House. Rent DC points, maybe?

We had a great exchange into National Harbor one year at Cherry Blossom time. It was sitting online, low TPU's for a large 2-BR. The public transportation into downtown DC wasn't bad, we went in every day, it exceeded my expectations. It was wonderful to be in DC as a tourist finally - after countless other trips for other reasons! :)
