Westgate Town Center-quality?

Hi-sorry to bother everyone again-we missed out on the 3 bedroom at Mystic Dunes and have an option for the Westgate Town Center

I am reading alot of mixed reviews on Tripadvisor? We usually exchange into a Marriott-is this place comparable to stay in for the 3 bedroom?

This si not for other Westgate properties-just the town center one

Any thoughts?

If you are a TUG Member, you have access to tons of reviews-by TUGgers- of thousands of resorts world wide. Not putting Tripadvisor down, but to not piss off their advertisers, they cherry - pick the reviews they publish.

don't buy Westgate.

all the westgates have problems with maintenance. they will cost you a lot more in fees.

I exchanged into once - never again - they don't believe in leaving you alone. when I did not answer the phone, and turn off my cell phone when they began to call there, they actually came to the door.... NEVER had that happen at any other timeshare. they were horrible had to threaten to call 911 if he did not leave me alone.

I booked a last call into the Town Ctr a few years ago only because of the resorts to choose from it was the closest to DH's cousin who was in town from the UK. We had a 2 bedroom which was actually a LO unit. It was very clean & I requested and received a top floor Disney facing unit. We got the 'parking pass' invitation and originally declined the presentation. When they called the next day DH agreed to go only because it was raining and his family had other plans for the morning. I set my timer and escaped the presentation non the worse for wear!

They are nice units in a high rise building but just be aware of the very hard sell sales pitch.
