What is the effect of selling your only Points Resort?

Hi,

I know that in order to use the PFD program that you must own a Points resort. What happens if you sell the resort that brought you into the program and you do not own any other Points resorts? Can you still participate in the PFD program? I know that on the membership transfer form you can transfer a week and not your membership, but can you keep your Points membership even if you no longer own at a Points resort? Can you still trade the Points that you deposited into the program via PFD? Will RCI refund your money back for the unused portion of your Points membership? Thanks.
