I would like to go in November or December to Canada. Which timeshare resort do you recommend? How is Whistler?
Thank you

That's a pretty broad question. Are you just focused on Whistler? Do you ski, or enjoy snow sports?

LOL. That’s like saying I would like to drink some wine from Napa but anywhere in the US fine. Canada is a big country.

For ski getaways this time of year you should focus on British Columbia (Whistler area) as well as some locations in the opposite end of the country, Quebec (Mount Tremblant, etc). The TS’s in Ontario might have ski activities available but the weather in Nov/Dec can be unpredictable with ski hills open one week then shut down due to warm weather. Right now many hills are open in Ontario but the weather will be warming up starting today and will likely shut down the sport if it stays warm and we don’t get below freezing temps at night. The other caveat in Ontario is that most powder is man made this time of year, which some people don’t like.

You absolutely should not book Whistler in November or December if you are hoping to ski. Maybe the end of December would give you good odds for a solid snowpack, but good luck getting a reservation in the last week of December. If you can wait until the last minute to verify weather then early to mid December might work.

So it sounds like you aren't necessarily looking for a ski vacation.

You really haven't given us much to go on. I haven't traveled much in Canada, and never in November/December. The closest I got was went I went to Vancouver in January because my dd was having some dental surgery. Anyway, I've spent the most time in Vancouver since dd was attending school there. We also did a couple of family trips. Love, love, love Vancouver. We spent a week in Whistler during the summer, but unless you ski I don't know if you'd find much to do there. Also have visited Montreal and Quebec City, both of which we enjoyed, but we went during the summer or early Fall when the weather was still pleasant.

The only one of these trips we used a timeshare for was Whistler. The others were all in hotels.
