I'm not brand new as I was given a week in South Africa about 10 years ago that I successfully exchange in RCI weeks usually more than 1 week a year, MF is low.
I'm looking to expand possibilities via RCI points and/or II.
Been reading a ton here, trying to figure best bang for buck.
I found this site and rescinded a Wyndham 154,000 purchase for $23,000 just in time!!
1) Is there a vacation destination you wish to visit most of the time or on a regular basis? if so where?
I live in Florida, like Orlando most years for about 4-7 days, 1-2 days Marco Island, Keys or any east coast hotel about twice a year.
Road trip every summer, looking for nice 1 night hotels to plan trips around
2) Do you want to visit your home resort at least half the time, or do you want to trade more than half the time?
If I buy in Orlando, possibly would use almost annually, not Disney fans , kids prefer Universal at this point.
3) What are your 5 top trade destinations?
Would love to visit Europe, Israel, Hawaii, take a cruise and possibly Caribbean Island within next couple of years
4) How many people do you usually travel with?
2 ( couple vacation) and sometimes up to 7
5) Can you travel any time, or are you locked into the school schedule?
School for a few short years longer
6) Can you make firm plans 12 or more mos. in advance?
Sometimes, for a big trip
7) Can you vacation for a full week at a time?
Sometimes
8) What level of accommodations do you prefer on a scale of 1 to 5 stars?
3 and above
9) How much can you afford to spend upfront, without financing?
$2-3000
10) How much can you afford to spend every year for a maintenance fee that will come due right after Christmas, and increase each year?
$2-3000
11) Are you a detail oriented planner?
Yes
12) Do you understand that once you buy a timeshare, it may be very difficult to sell or give away, and you are responsible for all fees, until you do?
Yes
Thank you for any ideas and suggestion!
