Which “ad type” should I select?

This is the first time I’ve tried posting our timeshare for sale. I’ve done all the pre-reading, watched the relevant videos and have started to enter the info but it doesn’t seem to fit any of the “ad types”.
It is an annual 1 week, 2 bedroom suite GeoHoliday Vacation Club Credit Based Vacation Ownership.
It doesn’t seem to fit with “other”, it doesn’t seem to fit with “points” and it has no fixed location.
We’ve always just exchanged it through RCI and got what we wanted.
Any help you could give us on how to make our oddball fit in the Timshare Marketplace listings would be appreciated.

[REDACTED - I posted rental Ad instructions, instead of For Sale Ad instructions.]

The best way to rent your timeshare is to reserve a high demand week at a specific resort and advertise that specific week.

Trying to advertise a flexible week that the renter can choose will not be nearly as successful, because most people are not familiar with your points system and they will just by-pass your Ad because they don't understand it.

Also - allowing potential renters to choose the week is also going to be a lot of work for you, because it will mean that you will have to check availability over and over again - many of which will not be available. Generally, by the time you find a genuine renter, the best weeks will all be gone, so you need to secure a good week/resort ASAP.

Thanks Denise for your prompt reply. Good info, I’m sure, but I’m trying list our timeshare in the “for sale” section, not “for rent”.

Oops - I misunderstood. If it is not a deeded week, it should go under points. You can explain all the details in the body of your Ad. Geo Holiday is listed on the points drop down menu.

Unfortunately, I don't believe that this vacation club membership has any resale value, and you may find that you need to give it away.

Denise, thanks for helping me over the first hurdle and for your unvarnished assessment of our situation. I’ll now move on with posting my “for sale” ad.
