I heard that Lifetime in Hawaii was selling weeks very cheaply. The maintenance is very inexpensive for Hawaii. I was wondering if someone knew something about the reason why. Has ownership or management changed? With the problems with extremely high maintenance at the Manhattan Club over the last few years I was wondering if this was the beginning of a problem a that resort.

I own at this resort for several years. M/F is pretty stable. I think the association is selling surplus weeks at around $1000 each. BTW, it’s a great trader with RCI. Weeks could garner as many as 47 TPUs for around $550 M/F.

I'm on the outside looking in but it could be no more than an effort to maximize the amount of MFs collected. This would benefit Owners who otherwise would have higher fees...

They are selling weeks to get people in paying the fees. They are weeks that the association has foreclosed on, or that people deeded back because they couldn't sell them. If they could get more for them I think they would.

nice to hear of a smaller resort taking a proactive approach to get owners in idle inventory!
