Why oh why does Christmas "stuff" need to be here already......

Hallmark channel has had nothing but Christmas movies on for awhile now! Wife has went through at least two boxes of tissues already! LOL.

Every year, I tell DW that I'm not climbing the ladder to put lights on the house.
Every year, she says: "Do you want me to do it?" <sigh> ...Up I go...

You can "do" Christmas without spending a lot of money.

I hardly buy any gifts. It's money, gift cards or a bottle of wine.

I do buy something small - toy/game, etc. for each grandchild to open (they don't need anymore toys/games - parents already get these gadgets for them).

Our best Christmas decoration purchase for our small second home was an artificial, pre-lighted, half Christmas tree. It hangs on the wall with the trunk either touching the floor or we hang it higher and place a gift wrapped box beneath it. Such a space saver but big enough to hold most of our ornaments and looks great!
