WKORV 6 Night/5 Day Offer

My wife received an email with an "exclusive" offer from WKORV for 6 nights and 5 days for $698. I initially did not think we could use it because we are already owners at WKORVN. However, I called Vistana based on what I have read on this site. The Vistana representative informed me that I could not use that offer, but he would give me an "owner's offer." However, he also informed me that this owner's offer could not be used in conjunction with my ownership week. I was looking to have it overlap with my reserved week because some family are traveling with us and we needed the extra room. Have others had the same response from Vistana?

I am an Owner that used a Promo preview package (Nanea) last Sept.
They knew I was an Owner, and did not care.
I tagged our 5-nite Promo onto our 14-nite stay.

However, I did not ask beforehand as I take the ‘ask forgiveness and not permission’ approach.

Are they going to deny you upon checkin? Nope.

Ha!!...So if it can not "overlap" with your ownership week, take their offer, then spend 1 night at the Westin or Sheraton down the street and then use your ownership week!! A bit of a hassle, but better then flying back and forth for each use...IMHO.
