Will be at WN end of June on trade and i cannot locate a resort map with bldings etc. Am looking for recomendations for blding, room request prior to arrival. Have read reviews that walls are thin and be noisy. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

There are numerous stand alone buildings that have three floors with numerous rooms on each floor. If you get one on the third floor you will have less noise. In my limited experience there, view is not an amenity, so no need to make special requests on that basis. We have typically viewed this as a glorified hotel, with the larger rooms including kitchens that are typical to Wyndham timeshare units vs. hotel rooms.

I stayed there over Memorial Day weekend last year- agree no view to be worried about. We had a first floor unit and did not notice any excessive noise, so I really don't think the room location matters at all.

Enjoyed several family reunions in the area and loved touring the beautiful hotel next door which our relatives enjoyed showing us. My daughter in law mentioned their condo didn't have an elevator making it difficult for getting to the third floor with luggage. It has been several years since we were there.

Stayed in 2 units there in June 2015. Units were spacious, but dated. Upper floor is better, but you will be using the stairs a lot. Opry Mills Stores are nearby.

There is at least one building - the first ones built just as you come into the complex - that does not have elevators. I think it is building 11.

Even on the website it lists
  • Limited Elevator Access
Here is the resort map - not sure if building 10 is the same way - but assume it is.

Good to know. We stayed in 25 and walked through 22-24 between the pool and back, so all those had elevators for sure.

Not sure what the distinction you are making between "glorified hotel" rooms and other Wyndham resorts - is it just the view? Inside the rooms are fairly standard.

For me, it’s both. No views. But also lower cost finishes and lower quality workmanship (I’m a real estate appraiser by trade). Floors are a cheap thin vinyl sheet with waves showing. Kitchen cabinets and counters are low end. Interior doors are hollow core. Bath fixtures are entry level. Shower doors and tracks are what one would find in Section 8 apartments. And as has been noted earlier - noise transfers between rooms more than typical Wyndham properties. Basically what one would expect in a hotel like Best Western or Ramada. Not like a Marriott or even Sheraton.

To me, nothing near even mid-range for Wyndham rooms I’ve had. We’ve stayed at about 40 different Wyndham resorts, so sample size is decently sized.

Interesting. Likewise I have stayed at about the same number of resorts, and don't see any material difference between Nashville and any other resort.

My posts here seem more negative than I intend. The rooms are functional. Just not impressive. Perhaps it’s the way we use them - when en route or coming back from Florida. And coming from Bonnet Creek. Or Royal Vista. Or Emerald Grande. Or Clearwater. Or Panama City Beach. When compared to those units, Nashville just doesn’t impress. Part of it might be the difference between frame/wood construction vs. concrete/steel construction.

Have you noticed the wavy floors?

We will stay again, but for the location, not the rooms.

I stayed there recently and noticed the wavy floors as well. Other than that, a pretty standard unit with no storage for groceries in the kitchen. There was a little space in the water heater closet once you move the glassware. However the closet was a little warm so no food was left there. There was also very little space in the broom closet. The groceries were left on the counter.

I noticed the elevator goes up to the top floor once everybody gets off of it. Seems stupid to put the extra wear and tear on it.

Th anks to all who replied, we are looking forward to being in Nashville and sounds like the Wyndam will provide a decent place for us to sleep and hang out for week. Will post my own review upon return.
