I recently used the Wyndham Tribute/Ovations program to deed my Silver VIP timeshare to my two daughters and husband. Each of them received the welcome kit with a new Kindle Fire device in the box. They are directed to download a large file to the device, which we have yet to do.

Wondering if they will be bombarded by ads and sales pitches constantly or if this will have some positive use. Stay tuned.

Or maybe the Kindles are a huge “oops, sorry” for dropping two years worth of points upon transfer if deeds/accounts that were pooled in January by me. Took a month and several calls to fix.

Wyndham has been putting timeshare system's T&Cs, Bylaws information onto a Kindle when people buy from them. It replaces the paper contracts and villas information.

considering that I paid $25 for my fire, for a single purchase, they may get a better deal as a bulk buy.

This might be a cheaper and more convenient method that the reams of paper you get and they have to stock and print.

How long did the transfer take...we put the paperwork in on 9/19. We called at the beginning of October and were told that they were still processing paperwork from July because of the hurricanes.

Besides kindle being a proprietary platform, id rather own apple than a kindle. It doesn't support tapatalk as well as other android apps. No it doesn't solicit adds or sales.

Easy to change an electronic file than a paper copy that is out in the publicsphere. Read the new update it should explain what you read and were promised at the time of the sale change, dramatically. I think home printing will be the way to go.
