One has to be 18 to enter into a binding contract. However, financing a timeshare is always going to be a terrible idea.

Suggest you read TUG for a while before financially hanging yourself at such a young age.

Save your money and either invest it or consider buying your own home. Don't buy a timeshare.

Purchasing would depend on the club rules which would be at least 18 but probably at least 21. Any age can own through inheritance but the membership would likely be held in a trust until age 18. Even at 18 the club rules might prohibit use until 21.

You will be better off to rent wherever you want to go. Life changes a lot in your 20s and 30s. A timeshare will likely become a burden.
