ILX's Varsity Club Tucson Vs. Starr Pass Tucson

I just close on a resale timeshare ILX resorts. The only reason I got this timeshare is to use their Varsity Club Tucson location to attend gem trade shows in Feb.

I didn't realize at the time I bought that Starr Pass, from the look on the map, is not that far off, I thought it is further out.

After reading both reviews, it seems Starr Pass is a nicer resort, but varsity club Tucson has a lower MF, and seems convenient for groceries and restaurants.

If my sole purpose to go to Tucson is to attend the show and not for vacation (I will be too tired to do even a proper dinner), can anyone tell me which is better? Varsity Club Tucson or Starr Pass?
