A friend of my is planning to take the Disney cruise. She has never traveled before. Where should she look to get the best prices? I am also suggesting to her to get the airline reservations through the cruise with a package deal. She will be leaving from NY.

When we took our first Disney cruise in 2008, we discovered there is very little discounting for Disney (maybe that's changed given the current economic situation, but I suspect Disney controls their agents very tightly).

We found the best deal was through Costco Travel. Price was the same, but we got a $100 (or was it $200) Costco card upon return of the cruise as part of the deal.

Also check vacationstogo.com

I would also check disney direct, as they have had some awesome sales lately. If she is sailing off season they have some really good rates.
