Selling using RedWeek

I have signed up for TUG and listed my timeshare for sale (free) under MARKETPLACE and the BARGAIN BIN area. I also have my timeshare listed with RedWeek. Has anyone else used RedWeek? On TUG, I listed as an individual and then plan to refer any buyer to RedWeek. Is that how it works?? Or, should I have listed as a broker and put down RedWeek as the broker?

Also, can I place a listing on E-Bay with a RedWeek link? Anyone know how that works? I want to list my timeshare on E-Bay as well, but want RedWeek to do the closing. I have reached out to RedWeek as well but am waiting for a return phone call. TIA

Lots of Tuggers use Redweek, but Redweek's full-service listings get bad marks on TUG because of slow and indifferent service from Redweek.

This is who I use for closing - I can guarantee they will do a better job than Redweek. They are Tuggers, they get high marks on TUG, and they are efficient and inexpensive - usually less than $250:

Thanks for responding DeniseM. So, if I already paid for the full-service listing with RedWeek - which was like $125, and then if they do my closing it's $399 (which they have just recently increased to $899!!), I just don't use them?

And, I just do the closing thru L.T. Transfers instead? And, it will only be like $250 if I find a buyer (listed for free)? They will do all of the closing? And, then, I'll do a transfer fee of $150 with Pono Kai? I already paid for an Estoppel - so L.T. Transfers should be able to use that, right?

Can I mention them on TUG and Ebay as my closers? Do I have to make an account with L.T. Transfers first?

TIA!

I just don't use them? That's up to you.

And, I just do the closing thru L.T. Transfers instead? That's what I would do.

And, it will only be like $250 if I find a buyer (listed for free)? I cannot give you a specific quote - you have to ask LTT.

They will do all of the closing? Yes.

and, then, I'll do a transfer fee of $150 with Pono Kai? LTT will handle it, but yes, you will still have to pay Pono Kai if they have a fee.

I already paid for an Estoppel - so L.T. Transfers should be able to use that, right? You have to ask them.

Can I mention them on TUG and Ebay as my closers? Yes - that's in my example on the Free Timeshare forum.

Do I have to make an account with L.T. Transfers first? They don't have accounts, but you should certainly consult with them before you do anything.

All the timeshares I've sold have been through Redweek, but not through their full service. As Denise has given you good advice, I've also used LT Transfers and highly recommend them.

I am in contract to sell a Westin St John week.
I reached out to LTT to get an estimate of the closing fees because they are high in USVI and based on the tax assessment.
They contacted their closing agent, got the quote and I was able to include the info in my ad.

They are great to work with and will give you an estimate based on your ownership.

Thank you so much for answering all of my questions! I was going to call L.T. Transfers today after I got off work, but I am just sitting down from getting home and doing dinner, etc. I'll try and call them tomorrow! šŸ’œ I appreciate your help!!

Wow! Good luck on your sale. I hope I have good news soon as well! What is USVI?

I hope to reach out this week to LTT. Thank you for your info!

Perfect! Thank you so much. I hope I can use one of the closing offices VERY SOON. šŸ˜Š

We can't afford to use the condo anymore, and travel is hard for my husband.
