I am fixing to close on a Fixed (white) week 20 at Escapes to Hot Springs Village. Since this resort is dual-affiliated, I am trying to decide on which exchange company will be the best.

Does anyone have any personal experience for a Hot Springs Week deposit? Which exchange company do you prefer and why?

Btw, SFX is out. They won't accept this resort.

Thanks.

I don't have direct experience with HSV, other than doing a bonus week to that area in 1990.

Historically, II has been very weak in the Heart of America. When we started, they did not even have a resort in Branson. Although they have played a pretty good catch-up game, I still get the sense that RCI is what more folks use to come to God's Country. ;)

II, with their Miami base, had always had an exotic, more upscale, foreign slant, IMHO.

That's what I kind of figured. I was hoping since II didn't have many resorts in "God's Country", they would value any HS' weeks a little bit more.

Thank ya much!!

I have deposited my Hot Springs weeks with TPI (No membership fees and reasonable exchange fees. Also you are not penalized for being a white week). TPI exchanges like for like in sleeping accommodations.

Thanks so much for the info. I completely forgot about Trading Places. I'll have to take a look at their website.

Thanks, again.

Don't own hot springs but since you live in Texas if you want to trade to Texas timeshares I would look into RCI. II never has anything I would trade to. Most Hill country or San Antonio resorts trade through RCI.

Oh, I want to trade into other resorts besides Texas. I've lived in Texas all my life. There's so much more to see beyond this big ol' state. :p

I guess II is out. Now I'm contemplating between RCI and TPI. Heck, the way things are picking up with Redweek, I may even deposit the HS week there. :D

Thanks for all the advice. It really helps.
