Historically, they have usually extended the schedule within the first few minutes after 11:00 a.m. Eastern time. They last did that on June 27, but on September 27, they opened it at about 12:45 p.m.

I just checked. Not open yet. It's a little before 8 a.m. Pacific time.

Yep, I just checked again and went in and booked my March flights. Got a couple of internet only that I'm guessing might not be around too long.

Did anyone else find their fares to be very expensive? I booked Philly to Orlando and cheapest I could get was $338 r/t. In August, I got r/t for $99. Is it because of spring break? Or what?

Thanks!

Just booked our April trip. For our itinerary, prices only went up slightly. But did you notice their new classes of service? The old 5 or so tiers of classes are now replaced by 3 -- Business Select, Business, and Wanna Get Away. Business Select is pricey, but it guarantees you 'A' boarding priority and double flight credits. Hmm, sounds like 'A' boarding is going to be harder to get.

As far as Baltimore to Vegas, the prices were fantastic, (IMO), especially for N/S flights, in March.

$338.00 is way too much for Philly to Orlando. Just keep plugging away. Good Luck!

I really didn't even notice the "perks" of Business Select. I just went for the cheapest flights. Oh well, even if we don't get "A" boarding, we'll still get on the plane and to our destination, and at a lower price.

SW flights are expensive for me. I could get from Manchester, NH to FLL April 18-26 for $363.70 pp in the cheapest categories. Last year, same basic dates, we paid $145.00 pp. We have no flexibility in our dates because we are going on a cruise.

I just tried to book--was out getting a haircut when the schedule opened.
April19-27-- NY to Orlando. Only 1 flight home available under $200--at 6am--no thanks. Cheapest flights to Fla all booked except evening flights. And they were $165 so I will not book. 365 RT for bad flight times isn't worth it to me. If I can't get cheaper flights I will skip this trip--unfortunately we will not see the inlaws this year, but what can I say?

Booked from Nashville to Las Vegas, it was a lot higher than I expected by $100.00. Maybe a lower price will come up later and can rebook.

For those who aren't familiar with SWA "Ding" fares, check out the thread here on TUG about it.

Can anyone tell me why all flights from ALB (Albany,NY) to anyplace in Florida for the weekend of April 11th and coming back the following weekend are so expensive, compared to the rest of the month?
If you look at ALB-MCO on the 11th, all of the non-stop flights are already unavailable. It doesn't seem possible that they would be filled as soon as the schedule opened up. Is it possible SWA holds these flights until the others are filled?
I can't even get a seat on a non-stop with a Rapid Reward reservation.
I'm on a downer because our vacation is the 11th to the 18th.

I don't think they have released all of thier flights yet. We were booking right at 11am when the new fares came out, yet many of the flights we wanted had shown no availability.

We are going to wait it out to see what Dings may come.
